:ប៉ន្តែក្នុងវិទ្យាសាស្ក្រ Champa (''Michelia spp.'') មិនមែនជាសណ្តានទេ។ All ''Michelia'' species were transfered to the genus ''Magnolia'' because through DNA sequencing, they were revealed to be closely related enough to be placed into the same genus (with the addition of many subgenera, sections, and subsections). The genus name Magnolia has more prominence than ''Michelia''. The binomial name of all these species are ''Magnolia'', not ''Michelia'' anymore. I am actually thinking about moving the name space for this article to [[Magnolia]] from "ម៉ាក់ណូលា" because this reflects that the name is a Latin name for the family and has not been Cambodianized yet. That is, I don't think there is an official name for this family in the Khmer language yet, I'm not even sure what the name for a "magnolia" is in Khmer because we refer to different species of this family by different names like មន្ទារ and យីហ៊ុប. Who is to say ចម្ប៉ា has prominence over the other two members, especially [[មន្ទារ]]. Personally, if it was up to me, I would use សណ្តាន or គ្រួសារមន្ទារ as I believe this species is more prominent in ancient literature (especially Pali text) --[[អ្នកប្រើប្រាស់:Dara|Dara]] ម៉ោង០៤:១១ ថៃ្ងព្រហស្បតិ៍ ទី២១ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០១១ (UTC)
